The Investigation

Citrix wanted to create some early awareness in the market about the upcoming XenDesktop product. Since it was too early for field sales and marketing, the goal was to create a web-based destination where Citrix could provide a peek at the upcoming product to interested parties. In order to avoid prospects getting lost in the larger Citrix website with its multiple product destinations, a separate XenDesktop microsite seemed the perfect solution. Tangence provided turnkey execution for the project which included:

  • Design, programming and execution of the XenDesktop microsite according to Citrix branding guidelines
  • XenDesktop feature / benefit illustrations
  • Programming for a flash-based ROI calculator to enable prospects to explore product deployment options independently

Additionally, Tangence also created other sales and marketing tools to help Citrix create some buzz around the XenDesktop launch:

  • Flash-based banners and presentations to promote XenDesktop
  • New PowerPoint presentation for sales training
  • E-mailers to pique interest and communicate the launch to the Citrix audience
